We're casting multiple roles for a TV advert for a Scottish fragrance client, shooting in the central belt of Scotland on 27th - 29th May 2024 (you'll only be required for one day). For use on TV commercial spots, as well as social media advertising and website/YouTube placements.
These roles will pay between £250 - £400 (including usage), and the production will require up to a full day shoot depending on role. It's a then-and-now concept that alternates between two different family weddings - one in the late 80s/early 90s, and one in the present day. Applications from individuals are very welcome and will make up most of what we eventually see, but it would be a great bonus to also see applications from mothers (50s-60s roughly) and daughters (20s-30s roughly) together, where there's a resemblance such that a daughter could feasibly play her own mother from 30 years prior.
There's also a role for a young girl aged 6-9, which will require a reliable performer who will dance around, play dress-up in her mum's wardrobe, and spray her mum's perfume. They could optionally bring an older female sibling, cousin, or friend, probably in the 6-12 age range depending on the age of the young girl, who can join them in the scene with a much less featured supporting role - especially if it's likely to help them relax and perform.
Please apply for one of the roles using the form below, and include relevant video links and Spotlight links (if applicable).
BRIDE (20s/30s): We're going to cast two brides (pays £400 each) - one for the present day timeline and one as a late 80s/early 90s bride. It's helpful but not essential if candidates also have a mother who can act and who's available, and whom they resemble strongly, so that we could e.g. cast them to play the younger version of their mother. Please mention if that's the case!
MOTHER OF THE BRIDE (50s/60s): This role pays £400 for a full day shoot. As a bonus, it's great to hear from candidates who have a daughter actress who resemble them from their youth, and could play them circa 30 years prior - but this is not essential, and individual applications very welcome.
YOUNG GIRL (6-9 ish) with optional SUPPORTING FRIEND/SIBLING (6-12 ish): The role of the young girl pays £300 for roughly a two-hour shoot, and requires a young girl who's confident to dance around and put on her fictional mum's clothes and potentially make-up, as well as spray perfume. If it's helpful for support, they can also bring a female sibling or friend who's comfortable appearing on camera in a much smaller role (pays £200) - please specify if this would be an option.
BRIDESMAID SISTER (20s/30s): A proud sister of the bride supporting her mum and filming while the bride is unveiled to the father of the bride. This role plays £250 for a half-day shoot.
FATHER OF THE BRIDE (50s/60s): A proud father of the bride seeing his daughter in her dress on the morning of the wedding. This role pays £250 for a half-day shoot.
