Interrupting a person’s social media scroll, or their YouTube binge, or their television-watching experience, is a serious responsibility. We’re never looking to simply make nice-looking images without thinking about the audience experience. We’ll take care of the whole video production process – from conception and scripting, finding locations, casting actors, right through to the shoot and edit. Your involvement can be extensive or it can be completely outsourced; we’ll deliver your project in exactly the way that you want it, but we’ll always give you the benefit of our own input and judgement as well. We’re never shy about offering solutions to improve methods where we think there are opportunities being missed – we’ll challenge you, but we’ll ultimately sign off the project before delivering anything. 

And, we’ve got specific in-house experience in comedy, which is drastically under-utilised in the commercial video space outside TV advertising currently. Our co-founder David McGinty has created comedy sketches for BBC iPlayer that have had millions of views on socials.

Part of what we’ve been doing for the last decade is specialising in making food and beverage-focused videos and photography for the last decade (including under our previous brand, Walnut Wasp). We’ve worked with well-known brands like Highland Park Whisky, Drygate Brewery, CalMac Ferries, Tennents, Menabrea, Dobbies Garden Centres, Edrington and more, to highlight their food and beverage offering and to showcase products.

However, we’re not just creating promo videos with national brands – our productions can scale back to two-person crews, so we’re also working all the time with much smaller/independent restaurants, cafes, bars and take-aways – including Glasgow restaurants and establishments like Ubiquitous Chip, Ho Wong, Lychee Oriental, Big Bear Bakery, Doh, Stravaigin, and Yippon.
